CCD Starts Sep 18, 9:15-10:45am
Thank you for taking the responsibility to hand on the faith to our children. To make this a fruitful journey for you and for your children, please be aware of the following:
Sacrament years: Please note that your child will need to do 2 years in total for First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
First Holy Communion Preparation is 2 years (2nd grade/year 3 and 3rd grade/year 4).
Confirmation Preparation is 2 years (7th grade/year 8 and 8th grade/year 9).
- The student and the student’s family are expected to attend any of the weekend Masses every week. Schedule of Masses are available here.
- The student must comply with the CCD program by attending at least 80% of the classes.
- The catechist must be informed in advance of any anticipated absence.
- The student is expected to make up for any missed classes.
- Retreat attendance is mandatory for those in Sacrament grades (3rd, 7th, 8th)
- Parents of students in Sacrament grades are required to attend the Faith Formation Talks. The teacher will inform you the date/topic.
- The student must be in class from 9:15am to 10:45am.
- At the end of the school year, the student will keep the notebook and must return only the textbook assigned to class. Notebooks will be given to new students only.
- When uploading the Baptism Certificate, please ensure that the uploaded certificate is named with your child’s name for easy reference.
- If your child is not baptized, please contact the parish office.
- Deadline for registrations in sacrament classes: 30 October 2026.
Registration fee: SR 100 per child up to 3rd child
Enclose the payments in an envelope with your child’s name and grade. Then give to the Center Office during office hours or to any Mass Coordinator.
